Cargo Box was created during a residency at The Montello Foundation in the late fall of 2015. Built specifically for the roof rack of the artists' car, the piece was designed to house other components of gear and equipment used for various performances, including the three-cylinder ash container used in the performance, Desert Desertion.

Stickers and labels associated with the artists' other performances and experiences were designed and painted on paper using gouache and affixed to the container. Information for each sticker design may be found on the Decal Series page.
