Mt. Hood For Good

Portland, OR

February 15, 2010

From his brother's home in Portland, OR, the artist loaded a baby stroller and began a hike towards Mt. Hood. In the stroller, along with some basic food supplies and gear, he carried and pushed five textbooks and his sketchbook, roughly the equivalent weight of his nephew. The hike began at 4:30 in the morning, traveled east on Burnside to Route 26 (Mt. Hood Hwy) and out of the city. The remaining part of the hike traveled through the town of Gresham and Sandy and ended at 4:30 p.m. at Cherryville Drive on Route 26. Total distance was approximately 33 miles.
