One Hundred Hills

San Francisco, CA

May 18, 2009

Set in the hilly streets of San Francisco, CA, the artist began a day-long hike with no pre-determined destination. The hike began at 6:15 a.m. in the Western Addition neighborhood, headed south to the top of Twin Peaks, then continued along Glen Canyon Park and east towards the bay. Cutting through the Mission District, the artist headed north through Chinatown, looped past Coit Tower then headed west on Pacific Avenue. The hike ended where it began on Divisadero Street, around 5:15 p.m. Throughout the hike, the artist carried a modified poster tube which housed a camera case and an extra long-sleeved top, along with other supplies purchased during the hike.
